An Introverted Isolationist

~ABOUT~

It's All About Me, But With A Warning

I’ve been shooting as a semi-professional photographer going back to 1998. Some of the images across this site I would consider professional, but others would just get a passing grade (if that), and some just hold a special meaning to me. If you decide to be a critic and pixel poke, yes there are issues with some of the images, blur, composition, & color grading to say the least. But this site is not here for gallery purposes or to sell my services but to share my work with you. Speaking of which, these images are copyrighted  and may not be used, sold, altered, or printed without my consent and cannot be used for Artificial Intelligence training.

So Who's To Blame

What really got me into this mess were my children... cross country, cheerleading, football, basketball, soccer, and life’s little other adventures. But I actually owe it all to my wife who has been very supportive in my pursuit and love of photography, both through encouragement and the understanding that it is a major investment of time and money, thank you, Kim.

More About Little Ole' Me

I also do web development for a wide range of clients and combine my photography skills with their websites as part of my services, Venues, Dog Breeders, Restaurants, Wineries, Mule Associations, and others. While working with the tourist industry I traveled across the Upper Cumberland Region of Tennessee and was exposed to many unique opportunities (and unique people) to practice and improve my skills. This also contributes to the wide range of subject matter you'll find across this site.

Just A Poor Excuse For My Vanity

While reading photography articles that pertain to creating the ultimate photography portfolio, they all suggest focusing on just a few photographic genres and limiting the number of images in a given genre. Like I stated earlier, the purpose of this site is not to sell but to offer some free entertainment for as long as you want to bounce around the site. If you do wish to reach out, my email is at the bottom of each page, but you’ll have to be smarter than a fifth grader to figure it out. It’s not a challenge but only to keep the web bots from collecting my email address and selling it to spammers.

Some Things To Note, Or Not

The newest images are at the top so check back periodically to see what I’ve gotten myself into lately. Older images are at the bottom and are added as I have time to go back through my catalog. “God willing and the creek don’t rise” I’ll take you all the way back to 1998 with me, that is if you're up to it.

The Golden Easter Egg

If you’ve made it this far down, here is your Easter Egg. Each time you revisit or refresh the Home page different images should appear... could it be dark magic, you tell me.
Once inside a gallery scroll along until you find an image that has triggered your curiosity, then just click on the image to enlarge it. On the enlarged image, midway down an arrow will magically appear to either side, go to the previous image or onto the next, your choice, I don't judge. You may also use your cursers, the little arrow thingies on your keyboard by the numbers. At the bottom right-hand corner of the image is an X to close the image and return you to the gallery you were currently viewing. To the bottom left of the image is a description, sometimes with typos. With all that said, it is in your best interest to view these images on a tablet, laptop, or desktop. With some galleries containing hundreds of quality, but yet questionable images, that's a lot of scrolling to do on your phone folks.
Enjoy!

Always evolving, never boring

Taking you back to 1998, but currently stuck somewhere in the year 2019
